Abstract
Objectives: Upon completion of this activity, the learner will be able to: 1. Discuss the difference between malformations, deformations, disruptions and dysplasia. 2. Recognize the importance of assessing forthe presence of minor congenital anomalies in the newborn. 3. Understand the potential significance of selected minor congenital anomalies and why their presence may require further investigation.
