N2 - The increasing complexity of modern communication networks and security systems demands intelligent solutions that can adapt to dynamic threats while maintaining operational constraints. This paper presents Constrained Object Hierarchies (COH), a neuroscience-grounded theoretical framework for artificial general intelligence that provides a unified approach to modeling and implementing intelligent systems. We demonstrate COH's efficacy through five comprehensive case studies in communications and network security: Intelligent Zero-Trust Network Access Controller, Autonomous Cyber Deception System, Self-Healing Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), AI-Powered Network Intrusion Detection System, and Dynamic Security Group Micro-Segmentation Planner. Each system is formally modeled using the COH 9-tuple representation and implemented using the GISMOL (General Intelligent System Modelling Language) toolkit. Our results show that COH enables elegant modeling of complex security systems while maintaining constraint awareness, hierarchical reasoning, and adaptive intelligence. The framework bridges the gap between theoretical modeling and practical implementation, providing a systematic methodology for developing intelligent systems that can reason about constraints, learn from experience, and maintain security guarantees in dynamic environments.
