Abstract
Modernization of sensitive all-sky imagers is important to continue to improve monitoring of the upper atmosphere. We developed a new compact all-sky imager called TPI (triple pass imager), combining a multi-band-pass filter and a commercial RGB sensor to obtain three-wavelength images at once. We describe the basic concept and performance, showcasing example data obtained during the magnetic storm event on November 12, 2025 at Poker Flat Research Range, Alaska.
