Abstract

“Trend”: a general direction in which something is developing or changing (www.oxforddictionaries.com). Understanding the direction of vectoral change in beverage consumption in the current context is important for predicting where beverage products will be in the future. Trends and changes in our direction apply to the choices we make for clothes we choose to wear, our politics, the cars we buy, and of course the beverages we choose to consume. One cannot understand the future without being mindful of the past.
