Abstract
The Canadian Journal of Learning and Technology publishes evidence-based and thought-leading articles and book reviews. We are a Canada-based journal supported by Canada’s Social Science and Humanities Research Council. This journal supports current knowledge dissemination about learning, technology, and education change relevant to the Canadian contexts. Recent trends in education innovation cover a wide range of issues: hybrid and blended learning as the new normal; digital literacy for teachers and students; accessibility and inclusion as part of administration, curriculum, and design; governance on data ethics, privacy, and responsible artificial intelligence (AI); AI and online learning in instructional design and institutional strategy. This issue provides discussion on such topics from research done in Canada, India, Morocco, and Spain. The studies highlighted here reveal a shared imperative: innovative technology-supported learning design and purposeful education development are central to economic resilience, ethical practice, and pedagogical renewal.
