Research Interests

My research and publications have primarily been in the area of Canadian and comparative public policy, in particular health policy and trade policy. My articles have appeared in the University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review, Canadian Foreign Policy, Healthcare Policy, B.C. Studies, The Asia-Pacific Journal, Popular Music and Society, and the Review of Policy Research. I have also conducted numerous peer reviews for articles in the Journal of World Health and Population, Canadian Political Science Review, Canadian Journal of Political Science, and B.C. Studies, as well as for books published by Routledge Press and University of Toronto Press.

I worked for five years at both levels of government as a Parliamentary Intern in Ottawa, a Ministerial Assistant in Victoria, B.C. and as a Policy Analyst at the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.
