    My research interests are split between the realms of teaching/education and environmental chemistry. Educational research includes studies into the use of citizen science experiments in environmental science education, and the use of mobile devices for data collection in home labs. In environmental chemistry, I have research projects into the effects of low concentration pollutants (e.g. pharmaceuticals) on biofilms in aquatic systems.
