    Research Interests

My research interests are broadly concerned with the topic of natural hazards and electromagnetic (EM) induction in the Earth including space weather hazards, volcanic hazards, and earthquake hazards. Understanding space weather hazards includes measuring and modelling induced geoelectric fields, geomagnetic fields, and geomagnetically induced currents during geomagnetic storms and estimating their impacts on power transmission and pipeline infrastructure. Understanding volcanic and earthquake hazards by imaging volcanoes and subduction zones using natural-source magnetotelluric methods which rely on EM induction in the Earth.
