Ana Azevedo is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship in the Faculty of Business at Athabasca University. Prior to her relocation to Canada, Dr. Azevedo worked as a faculty member at the University of Texas in El Paso (El Paso, Texas), Florida A&M University (Tallahassee, Florida), and the University of Applied Sciences FH Joanneum (Graz, Austria). She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (FEA/UFRJ), an MBA degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (COPPEAD/UFRJ), and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Florida International University (Miami, Florida). Dr. Azevedo's research interests include intercultural and management education topics such as cultural intelligence, equity diversity and inclusion (EDI), and soft skills development in higher education. Ana is passionate about promoting skills development in management education and about nurturing entrepreneurial thinking, adaptive leadership, and learning agility in working professionals, business leaders, and entrepreneurs.
