Since November 2011, Athabasca University Operates A Research-Grade Weather Station On Its Main Campus In Athabasca, Alberta, Canada (Coordinates: 54.709151, -113.319844). The Automated Weather Station, Supplied And Installed By Campbell Scientific, Serves The Purpose Of Research, Teaching, And Public Engagement, Supporting A Wide Range Of Activities Related To Weather Monitoring And Analysis. It Is Equipped With A Comprehensive Array Of Sensors And Instruments To Measure Various Atmospheric Parameters And Environmental Conditions. The Weather Station Provides Measurements For:
• Barometric Pressure
• Air Temperature And Relative Humidity At Heights Of 2 Meters And 10 Meters
• Wind Speed And Direction At Heights Of 2 Meters And 10 Meters
• Precipitation Using A Tipping Bucket Precipitation Gauge And Geonor Precipitation Gauge With An Alter Windshield
